Holiday Style Series: Part V

By Abigail Padgett

‘Tis the season! With the final week of classes upon us, so is the final part of my style series. To anyone who kept up with the posts, thank you! I had a ton of fun putting my ideas out there. I hope that there was at least one item/concept you wanted to add or incorporate into your wardrobe.

Since this is the ultimate Holiday Style Series post, I want it to end with a bang. I want to pick an aspect of fashion that’s original. To find those pieces that really make a person stand out, and more importantly, make a person feel like their best self. If nothing else, isn’t that what the holidays are about?

This week: the holiday jumpsuit

I’m a huge fan of jumpsuits. They have pants (sometimes pockets!) and still manage to be effortlessly chic. I honestly believe that there is a jumpsuit for every shape and size, and they are very flattering. They can be modest, revealing, elegant, fancy, casual or sexy. I’m serious, jumpsuits are like the new dress; there’s one for everyone. Bonus: like a dress, with a jumpsuit, almost the entire outfit is there. This also means they’re great for packing and traveling.

There are so many takes on the jumpsuit, and this holiday season is no exception. Pictured below are jumpsuits that cover a varying range of occasions, from day time casual to evening dinner ready.
