Songs for Sweater Weather

By Allie Eames

The transition from one season to the next just isn’t complete for me without a change in tune. Whether it’s creating a new playlist or doing a little updating to my ‘walking to a class’ or ‘lazy homework’ playlists, I love to have something fresh for the season. In the spring and summer, I am all about upbeat, surf-side sounds, even with some reggae and country mixed in. In the fall and winter, I transition into much more alternative, indie, folk, and chill music.

Even though Oxford has been uncharacteristically warm- it is officially fall.  I am ready for the colors of the leaves and the excitement of Halloween and Thanksgiving. The time to listen to something new has officially come.

Think of these songs as something to crunch-leaves-on-your-way-to-class to.
