The Ever Evolving Bob

By Hannah Blaze

Ah yes, the bob—one of the most classic haircuts out there. Although it has been around for nearly a century, it’s constantly evolving to keep up with the trends and will never not be in style. One of the biggest bob trends lately has been the ‘lob,’ which stands for a ‘long bob,’ and almost every mainstream celeb has been rocking it at some point. Here are some of my current favorite ‘bobbed’ looks:

I personally have a bob and don’t think I will ever look back. Everyday I fall more in love with the cut. My favorite way to style mine is by loosely wrapping one inch sections around the curling iron shown below. I then spray dry shampoo at the roots and messily run my fingers through the ends. Finish with some hairspray and you should be left with the perfect, most trendy messy waves that will last all night!

If you want to keep up with the trends, a bob is definitely the cut for you. Whether you decide on the ‘lob’ that lays right beneath your collarbone, or go for that bold under-the-chin bob, you are sure to make a statement. Trust me—this is one decision you will not regret!
