We’ve made it everyone. We’ve made it to the week of freedom! Personally, I was 99% sure I was not going to make it this far, so I am patting myself on the back a little extra today. Usually, spring break is the perfect time to switch out our wardrobes from clunky sweaters to flowery dresses- but we live in Ohio, so it’ll probably snow in May. Regardless of the temperamental weather, spring break is all about vacationing in the warmth. It’s going to be a struggle to get back into spring/summer clothes because, if you’re like me, you can’t remember what warm actually feels like. Luckily, I have found the latest and greatest spring break fashion trends so you won’t feel stuck in the tundra of Oxford.
Spring is when we all break out our cute skirts and dresses, without tights! The colors and patterns of this season are so cheerful and fun that it can pull anyone out of the winter blues. Going with a melon/peachy color is always an excellent spring color. Not only is it eye-catching, but it’s a mood booster! Bonus: if you went somewhere sunny for break, it enhances your new tan quite nicely. Floral prints are very spring/summer and always super cute during this time of year. You can start to match the scenery with all the blooms around!
Rompers are wonderful because I don’t feel like I am about to flash someone every time I drop my keys. They are the perfect spring piece! You can dress them up for a nice dinner, or dress them down for just hanging out in the sun. One of the best parts about rompers are the crazy fun patterns on them. There’s always something on a romper: a ruffle, a flower, cool buttons, etc.
Now to tie it all together with the final (and best) step, SHOES! For spring, sandals are a must. It’s time to let your feet breathe! With sandals, you can go as flat as can be or grow five inches in one step. They also go with just about everything, so why not buy another pair? Get ready to show off your cute pedicures!
