With the fall chill slowly taking over, we can’t help but start thinking about pumpkin patches, corn mazes, pumpkin spice lattes, and cozy flannels. What makes flannels so great is that they come in all sorts of colors and styles. They add a fall touch to your outfit while still keeping you comfortable.
There are many ways to wear a flannel. Here are some classic ideas:
Pairing a flannel with denim shorts is the perfect way to transition from summer to fall. The simplicity and comfort of this look make it a classic favorite. Also, experiment with different shoes. From Converse to boots, there are many different combinations that you can create. Have fun with it!
Before we pull out our parkas, vests are a great way to give us that little warmth we need on chilly fall mornings. There are many different vest fabrics and styles, ranging from bubble to faux fur. Paired with a simple pair of jeans and some booties, you have an outfit that is perfect for a Saturday at the pumpkin patch and sipping on cider!
As a Dress:
I have a habit of often going into the men’s section of stores and buying the biggest flannel I can find. Tied with a belt and aired with some booties, this is great makeshift dress for fall. They are so cozy and easy.
