Miami University’s Club of Fashion and Design annual fashion week is finally here!! Fashion week allows club members to celebrate their hard work from the year and get students excited for the designers to showcase their work at the fashion show on Saturday, April 16. The week is filled with all kinds of creative and fun activities to get campus involved in the club and celebrate fashion.
Promo Day in Armstrong Student Center 12-4 pm
Come meet some of the designers and club members and learn more about MUCFD! Eat some cookies, get some free stickers, and get excited for the show on Saturday!
Designer Showcase in Armstrong Student Center 11-3 pm
Chat with some designers about their inspirations and pieces for the show! Models will also be there to talk about working with their designers and give you some insight into what they will be rocking down the runway on Saturday!
Trunk Show in Farmer School of Business lobby 10-3 pm
Tim Baxter talk in the Farmer School of Business Taylor Auditorium room 1000 7pm
Come listen to the wise fashion advice of Tim Baxter, the Chief Merchandising Officer of Macy’s. Before becoming the Chief Merchandising Officer, Baxer served as the executive vice president and general merchandise manager for ready-to-wear. He has worked a wide array of merchandising categories and led Macy’s fashion office. Don’t miss this great presentation!
