Look UP to Margot Robbie

By Maddie Wood

Sunday’s Oscars proved what I’ve been thinking for the past two years: Margot Robbie can do no wrong. As hard as it is to pull off a floor-length gold sequin gown, her model good looks and killer body don’t hurt. I mean seriously, if I tried to wear that I would look like a cheap Elvis impersonator.

The hot Aussie is slowly but surely becoming the talk of Hollywood. After a break out performance opposite Leo in The Wolf of Wall Street, Robbie has transformed into a sophisticated style icon. Whether she’s rocking cut offs and a white T-shirt or a glamorous gown on the red carpet, Margot’s style screams stylish chic.

With the hype of her new movie The Suicide Squad, in full force, let’s take a moment to look back at some of Margot’s best styles.

Margot stunned at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards in a Gucci silk crepe dress and emerald green Christian Louboutin heels.

She embodies classic cool in denim cut offs, a relaxed tee and lightweight flannel around her waist. Margot topped off her comfortable look with a pair of cream hi-top converse.

In arguably my favorite red carpet look, Margot rocked this black lace Elie Saab jumpsuit at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. The sexy style offers a more modern take on the traditional black gown.

Margot’s breezy overalls and white tank offer a cool alternative to shorts or a dress for a hot summer day. I love the way these overalls are a bit slouchy, making the look effortlessly casual.

Margot, keep doing you. I look forward to seeing what you’ll wow us with next.
